Movement of the Wasp

We’ve been busy over here at the Wasp Network, renovating the hive, and preparing to give you a completely new user-experience. The more observant of you will have noticed a completely new interface to our network. We’ve optimized our services so you can switch between our sites at ease, focusing on an exciting blend of usability and aesthetics, making life easier for you. We’ve also coloured the network in the infamous wasp colours, just so you know you’re at home. Now, let’s get onto the specifics.

The Logo

Our new logo was created by the talented Mugurel Dragusin over at Ypson.com. He’s done a a fantastic job conveying the Wasp personality through a simple, yet meaningful logo design.
The Buzz

The Buzz is essentially news and updates: the gossip and banter at Wasp Network. It’s powered by the lovely Wordpress, and it will prove a useful way of keeping all our wasp-buddies up to date. So if you don’t want to fall behind on the gossip, subscribe to our feed sharpish (no pun intended)!

Directory Wasp

Directory Wasp has now been upgraded to the latest version of phpLinkDirectory, which means finally users can navigate at ease with helpful utilities such as search! So simple, yet so useful! Get on over and submit your links if you haven’t already!

Image Wasp

Image Wasp has been fine tuned, and the new network interface complements our image hosting platform, putting you in the driving seat.

A Final Thanks…

Finally just a thanks from me to all those who have worked hard to achieve what is now the new Wasp Network. A special thanks goes to Taiyab Raja of 6creations, for his generous help in preparing the network for launch and to Jeff of Typekast Design for his extensive coding work, late nights, generosity and banter. Without Jeff, we wouldn’t have this fantastic system in place that let me write this to you.

We do hope you enjoy what we’ve done for you. Take a look around, and make use of our services. Remember, if you have any questions, suggestions or bug corrections (excuse the pun, and the rhyme), Contact the Queen Wasp. She won’t bite, but she may sting.
